Sunday Mornings
Worship at CPC
Our worship services are designed to communicate the story of redemption as seen in scripture. As the body of Christ, we see ourselves as participants in this grand narrative of redemption as we sing, pray and hear God’s Word preached. We believe that the God of the Bible is the only One who is worthy of our worship, and that worshiping Him is what we were created to do. It is our prayer that you will experience the good news of the gospel and want to join us in worship. All are welcome!
Music at CPC
At CPC, our worship team is comprised of more than 40 gifted musicians who range from 18 to 80 years old. We appreciate the richness of ancient hymns and the accessibility of modern anthems. Our community celebrates a wide variety of musical genres such as acoustic/folk, traditional, gospel, and contemporary. We place a high value on the arts, both visual and musical, and desire to worship in a way that is true to our context—allowing the gifts of the congregation to shape our worship as much as possible.
Letters of Paul
After his conversion experience, the Apostle Paul made it his mission to follow Jesus' call to go and make disciples of all nations. This Discovery Class taught by David Chapman and Matt Heckel at 9:00am in the Cafe will look to Paul's letters for instruction on how to share with others that salvation is a gift from God through faith in Christ alone.
The Strangeness of Sunday
Join Worship Director Heather Kaemingk and her husband, Matt, as they lead this Discovery Class that looks beyond music and singing to examine how the experience of weekly worship uniquely shapes us as Christians. This class will meet at 9:00am in the Fireside Cafe.
