Sunday Mornings

Worship at CPC

Our worship services are designed to communicate the story of redemption as seen in scripture. As the body of Christ, we see ourselves as participants in this grand narrative of redemption as we sing, pray and hear God’s Word preached. We believe that the God of the Bible is the only One who is worthy of our worship, and that worshiping Him is what we were created to do. It is our prayer that you will experience the good news of the gospel and want to join us in worship. All are welcome!

Music at CPC

At CPC, our worship team is comprised of more than 40 gifted musicians who range from 18 to 80 years old. We appreciate the richness of ancient hymns and the accessibility of modern anthems. Our community celebrates a wide variety of musical genres such as acoustic/folk, traditional, gospel, and contemporary. We place a high value on the arts, both visual and musical, and desire to worship in a way that is true to our context—allowing the gifts of the congregation to shape our worship as much as possible.

Welcome to CPC

If you are new to CPC, interested in becoming a member, or just want to learn more about the church and its beliefs and ministries, come to this five-week class at 9:00am beginning Aug. 17 in the Lighthouse (on the east side of the church parking lot).

God's Story & Our Story

The Bible’s narrative of God’s actions and relationship with humanity is a personal story for each of us. In this seven-week Discovery Class, CPC leaders will look to scripture to guide a discussion of how we can find meaning, purpose and identity by understanding our lives within the context of God’s overarching story. The class meets at 9:00am in the Cafe starting Aug. 17.

Joshua: Strong & Courageous

This seven-week Discovery class looks at the story of Joshua, who led the Israelites into the Promised Land after the death of Moses, as an example of the importance of obedience to God’s covenant and His faithfulness in fulfilling His promises. Owen Tarantino and Adam Wang will teach the class at 9:00am in the Fireside Cafe beginning Sunday, Aug. 17.
