WHAT TO EXPECT AT CPC
WHEN ARE CPC’S WORSHIP SERVICES?
There are two identical Sunday services, held at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary, through the main entrance of CPC.
WHAT TO WEAR TO SUNDAY SERVICES?
Dress in what is comfortable–there are many styles of dress on Sundays, from coat and tie to jeans and khakis.
WHERE TO PARK?
CPC has generous parking, and several handicapped spaces located near the main entrance.
WHERE TO ENTER AFTER PARKING?
Enter through the main entrance, facing Clayton Road, and find the Welcome Center located in the lobby. The Hospitality Team will be available to answer questions.
WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN?
If children are third grade and younger, pick up a security name tag from the Welcome Desk. There will be a friendly face who can help direct the children to the nursery and Sunday morning classes.
WHAT ABOUT OLDER CHILDREN?
CPC has classes for all children, from nursery to high school. Crossfire is the ministry for 4th and 5th graders, and meets downstairs, on the lower level, in Room 130. CRASH is the ministry for middle school students, and meet next door to Crossfire, in Room 140. The KREW ministry serves high school students, who gather in the KREW House, located across the parking lot and behind the Church Office.
WHAT ABOUT THE LORD’S SUPPER?
The Lord’s Supper is celebrated the first Sunday of each month. The elements are passed out during the worship service, and gluten-free elements are available from an elder at the back of the Sanctuary.
WHAT ABOUT ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES?
Two adult Sunday School classes are held each Sunday morning from 9:00–10:15 am. They are usually offered in either six or eight week sessions. One class is Biblically-based, and studies a book of the Bible or an individual from the Bible. The other class is practically-based, and covers a relevant cultural topic, theological foundations, or life stages.
