Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness, come before him with joyful songs. Psalm 100:1-2

Worship is central to who we are as a community and is a crucial part of growth in the Christian life. The Worship Arts Ministry is dedicated to leading and facilitating the worship of God through the arts. Everyone is called to be a worshiper of God, and this ministry is designed to develop lead worshipers among the gathering of His people at Chesterfield Presbyterian Church.

Chesterfield has two Sunday morning worship services at 9:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. Our worship music is centered around a band of guitar, piano, bass, drums, and vocalists who lead the congregation in singing. Our desire is to utilize the best of historic hymns and current worship songs.

Using My Gifts

There are many ways to use your gifts in the Worship Ministry at CPC. Along with Sunday morning worship, we have opportunities for musicians to help with Children’s Ministry, Friendship Ministry (adults with special needs), small group worship, mission trips, and mercy ministry as well.

We welcome new musicians! For more information about getting involved in the Worship Arts Ministry contact Ryan McMillen, Worship Arts Director ryanm@chespres.org.

Worship Services

Chesterfield has two Sunday morning worship services where we use contemporary music ranging from acoustic folk to modern rock and occasional ventures into other styles. Worship is typically led by a band (piano, guitar, bass, and drums) and a few vocalists. Other instrumentalists are often included also.

Choir

During the seasons of Christmas and Easter our choir rehearses and sings in worship. The choir is also featured in our annual Acoustic Christmas program. Participation is open to all, with basic music reading ability a plus.  The choir is a great way for singers to get involved in Worship Ministry. See the choir's rehearsal schedule below.

Audio/Visual

Our audio/visual staff is integral to worship and special events at Chesterfield. We are always looking for volunteers interested in operating sound and video as these play an important role in worship today.
