New Hope Counseling Services seeks to connect individuals and families with a deeper understanding and experience of God's grace and hope.

Our hope flows from trusting in God's grace, waiting on God's work, knowing God's truth, working as a team, and reconnecting with God's family

Connecting means listening and loving people of all ages who are created in God's image, yet who are broken by sin and a sinful world. Connecting also means welcoming people with various struggles who desire to grow and to become what God has intended for them in Christ.

By God's grace, these helping relationships will heal individuals, according to God's truth and in the context of God's family. All of this is possible by the supernatural work of God's spirit in our lives together.

Our professionally trained therapists at New Hope Counseling Services provide individual, family, pre-marital as well as marital counseling for a wide variety of issues.

What is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)?
A licensed professional counselor is a mental health professional who is highly trained to help people negotiate various emotional concerns. They hold Masters (MAC, M.A., M.A.E., M.S.,) degrees in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field. To become licensed as a professional counselor one must have graduated from an accredited program that required specific coursework and an internship. Further, they must have completed two years of supervised clinical experience, a national exam, and they must agree to abide by a code of ethics.

How Can I Support New Hope Counseling Services Financially?

Did you know that there are two ways that you can support New Hope Counseling Services financially? The first is with a direct cash donation to our Youth and Family Scholarship Fund. The second is through the giving of non-cash assets to New Hope Foundation. Read below for details on how each of these processes work.

The New Hope Youth & Family Scholarship Fund

Each year children, adolescents, and families who would not otherwise be able to afford counseling are able to come to New Hope because of the Youth & Family Scholarship Fund. Money donated by people from Chesterfield Presbyterian Church and individuals in the community allows children and families to get counseling as they deal with issues like divorce, sexual abuse, domestic violence, eating disorders and thoughts of suicide. If you are interested in donating to the New Hope Youth & Family Scholarship Fund, make checks payable to New Hope Counseling. All gifts and donations are tax deductible.

What is the New Hope Foundation?

Purpose
The New Hope Foundation is designed to support the current and future expansion of our ministry. We help provide simple and effective giving solutions that enable you to experience the joy and freedom of giving.

The Opportunity

Because they're not equipped to accept non-cash gifts. Through our foundation we can accept them, and we will work with you to develop the best giving strategy for you and your family. Many people engage in estate planning, selling properties or businesses, etc. If done properly, givers can avoid or reduce taxes and maximize giving.
