Michael Coggin Michael Coggin, Director, MAC, M.Div., LPC, NCC
Michael has worked in the mental health field since 1995 and counseled in the St. Louis area since 1997. Michael holds a Masters in Counseling and Masters of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary and is a licensed professional counselor with the state of Missouri. Over the years he has worked with a number of issues but has a real passion for families dealing with brokenness in their lives. He also has a heart for men wrestling with the impact of divorce, sexual addiction, intimacy issues, and emotional abuse. Michael currently serves as an assistant pastor at CPC and is ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America. MichaelC@chespres.org 636-779-0318
 
Sherry Coggin Sherry Coggin, MAC, LPC
Sherry received a Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary and has a License for Professional Counselors for the state of Missouri. Sherry began her work in the mental health field in 1995, counseling women at pregnancy centers in North Carolina. She has counseled in St. Louis since 1998. She specializes in working with women, teenage girls, families, and couples for issues including abuse (sexual, emotional, and physical), eating disorders, same sex attraction, depression, anxiety, post abortion, divorce, and identity issues. She has led therapy groups for women struggling with eating disorders and same sex attraction, and for middle and high schoolers whose parents are divorced. Patti Hawley Patti Hawley, MAC, LPC
Patti received a Masters in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary and is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of Missouri. She has also worked on staff with Chesterfield Presbyterian Church since 2001 as Care Coordinator and Women's Director. Patti is a single mother of two grown daughters. One of Patti's many gifts is walking with hurting single women and those who are in the midst of divorce and its realities. Additionally, she counts it a privilege to journey with people who are dealing with depression, grief, and anxiety, and have suffered the tragedy of emotional, physical and sexual abuse. Jennifer Wright Jennifer Wright, MA, LPC, NCC

Jennifer, a graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary’s counseling program, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri and, additionally, holds the Nationally Certified Counselor credential.  She is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.  Formerly a paramedic in the field of emergency medical services, Jennifer brings a specialized understanding of those grappling with health issues alongside their emotional struggles.  Additionally, Jennifer longs to be a resource to emergency medical service and fire personnel who wrestle with the pressures of their occupations.  She currently works with a wide variety of individual clients as well as couples working through marriage challenges.  She also has a keen interest in pre-marital therapy and co-leads Wounded Heart groups.  Furthermore, Jennifer possesses a passion for teaching which includes supervising counseling interns and lecturing at counseling-related conferences.  Jennifer desires to conduct research and further her education in the areas of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Critical Incident Stress Management, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy.  JennW@chespres.org  636-779-0336

 

 

 
Luke Calvin Luke Calvin, MAC, M.Div., LPC
Luke holds a Masters of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary and is a licensed professional counselor with the state of Missouri.  In his six years as a counselor, it has been Luke's privilege to care for men and teens wrestling with sexual addiction, same sex attraction, depression and anxiety, drug and alcohol abuse, the fallout of sexual abuse, the grief involved with divorce, and the struggles associated with life's transitions.  He has also walked alongside couples and families who seek to love each other fully and heal the wounds that cause pain in their relationships.  LukeC@chespres.org  636-779-0329

Rachel Groom Rachel Groom, MAC, LPC
Rachel received her Master's from Covenant Theological Seminary after completing her internship here at New Hope. Rachel has previous experience working with at-risk youth and their families in Nashville, TN. As a result of that experience, she has grown a heart for working with children and adolescence. She also has experience working with adults and youth struggling with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, same sex attraction, addiction, abuse, self-destructive behaviors, and eating disorders. Mark Pfuetze Mark Pfuetze, MAC, M.Div., LPC
Mark holds a Masters of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary and is a licensed professional counselor with the state of Missouri. He has served in campus ministry and as a missionary for several years. Mark is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. As a counselor, Mark has worked with a wide range of issues including marriage and family, anxiety, depression, conflict resolution, teen issues, emotional, sexual and physical abuse, and sexual addiction. Jack Easterling Jack Easterling, MAC, PLPC
Jack is a graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary with a Masters degree in Counseling. Prior to this career shift, he spent thirty years in business. He completed his business career as part owner and Chief Operating Officer of a large privately held company in the St. Louis area. Jack has been married to his wife Lois for 20 years and has two grown children from his first marriage. Through personal experience he understands and has a heart for those struggling with stress, anger, perfectionism, divorce, abuse and addictions. Jean Chen Jean Chen, MAC, PLPC
Jean holds a Master of Arts in counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary and is a provisionally licensed professional counselor with the state of Missouri. She also has an MBA from Northwestern University. Jean and her husband have two grown children. As a therapist, Jean helps people communicate and connect in healthy ways that honor God and each other. Jean has a real passion for women, couples and families who are dealing with conflict, anxiety, stress, depression, co-dependency, addiction, perfectionism, and transitions in life. Jean also has a heart for working with women who have suffered from broken relationships and from current or past abuse.
