Adult Ministry Events
Adult Sunday School
CPC offers Sunday School classes that are Bible centered and discussion oriented. Classes are offered on a variety of Biblical books and relevant topics. Listed below are our current Sunday School classes. Sunday School is held during both services, but some classes may be held only during one of the two services.
The typical Sunday morning schedule is as follows:
- 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
- Worship
- Kidz Church (ages 4, 5, & 6)
- KidzCare (Nursery) provided for Birth - 24 mo.
- KidZone (Children) Sunday School for 2 years - 3rd Grade
- Crossfire, Crash, and Krew Sunday School classes
- Adult Sunday School
- 9:45 - 10:30 a.m. Friendship Class
- 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. Fellowship
- 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
- Worship
- Kidz Church (ages 4, 5, & 6)
- KidzCare (Nursery) provided for Birth - 3 years
- KidZone (Children) Sunday School for 4 years - 3rd Grade

Women's Ministry Events
Mother & Daughter Summer Book Club
June 15th & 29th, July 13th & 20th, and August 10th from 7-8:30 p.m.
Moms and daughters of all ages--join us in the CPC Cafe several Sunday evenings this summer (dates listed above) for a wonderful time discussing and celebrating three fantastic books from C.S. Lewis'
Chronicles of Narnia. We will be reading
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in June,
Prince Caspian in July, and
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in August. Information and discussion guides for each book can be picked up on the Women's Ministries table in the lobby of the church, or you can contact Sharon Palas at sharonp@chespres.org for more information.

Women's Summer Bible Study: Girl on a Swing
Tuesday evenings June 10 through July 29, 2008 @ 7-8:30 p.m.
Join us as we are refreshed and encouraged by the book Girl on a Swing by Nancy Kennedy. This book will invite us to grow in God's word, learning together how to find rest in God's goodness and grace.
We'll meet together in the CPC Cafe. Women of all ages and from all walks of life are welcome!
Books are now available at church in the lobby area on the Women's Ministry table. Cost for the book is $12.

Celebration Ministry Events
Songwriter's Group
meeting the first Wednesday of each month at 7 pm
This is a small group of people interested in exploring the art of songwriting and giving them a chance to share their work with others in a supportive environment. We welcome everyone from experienced writers to those who are just beginning. Our goal is encouragement in the art and process of writing as we provide a safe place to share and grow.
