Courage: Becoming the Man God Designed You To Be

Friday and Saturday, January 27th and 28th

The 2012 Men's Retreat will be a fun-filled event offering opportunities for you to get to know other guys within the church as well as grow in your faith, both in word and in action.  This is an opportunity for you to get away for 20 hours of intense fun, learning, and service where we will laugh, relax, and enjoy the company of other men.

We will be meeting at New City Fellowship located in University City (click on Men's Ministry Events to the right for detailed directions). The schedule of the Men's Retreat has been set up to be as flexible as possible.  You have the opportunity to attend the entire event from Friday evening to Saturday early afternoon or you can come either on Friday night or on Saturday and be home by 1:30.  At the same time, attending the Men's Retreat will be blessing to you and your family as well as to others as you serve families in the area on Saturday morning.  Finally, this is a unique opportunity to enjoy great food and friendship with other men in the church.

This year's theme will focus on courage and how to become the man God has designed you to be.  The featured speaker for the weekend will be Mike Higgins, the Dean of Students at Covenenant Theological Seminary as well serving as an Army Chaplain with a rank of Colonel in the US Army Reserves.
